Description:

Father - Contango, Keur, Preferent was Champion of his 100-Day Test in Medingen, Germany, in 1991. He earned 9s on temperament and trainability and won top honors in both jumping and dressage. He was ridden by Els Jansen at heavy tour level prior to his departure to the USA. With his owner and rider Mary Alice Malone, Contango made his debut at Grand Prix level dressage. In 1997 he achieved seven 1st Place wins at Grand Prix. His offspring Madorijke, Maverick, Maestro and New Tango have reached the same level in sport and are successful internationally. Contango's offspring Broere Maroon, Newton and Nouvelle are competing at the highest levels in the jumping ring. His sons Ravel and  "I forget his name" with Stephen Peters  are doing well in dressage. Ravel is one of the TOP GP Dressage horses in the world, he just won the World Cup.  Check the ISF website for details.  Heck if you don't know what Ravel just won,  then you don't follow dressage. Contango's  breeding values for both dressage (168) and jumping (123) are far above average.
